Mission statement

People for Parks works in partnership with community organizations, public agencies, nonprofits and the private sector to expand public access to greenspace in the Los Angeles area. PFP serves as a land trust, promotes environmental education, and advocates for innovative legislation and greater funding for parks and recreation, especially in the neediest neighborhoods.

PFP is a 501(c)(3) and the People for Parks Advocacy Group is a 501(c)(4).
